Staff Accountant

The mission of the Accountant is to prepare a work product that requires minimal revisions and review time. The Accountant is responsible for preparing weekly and month-end accounting, bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and tax work papers. The challenge is being able to prepare, and self-review for quality control.
We provide from 1 to 3-month training program for newly hired team members.
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering the following for US-based restaurants:
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor balance reconciliation and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting/ Finance or another related field,
- Working experience in accounting is preferable,
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger,
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferable,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,
- Computer literacy,
- Fluency in English - both written and verbal,
- Fast learner,
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
